Signs of Change

There's news, but then there's news that affects us all, which we have a front row viewing from around the world.  By drilling ice cores and analyzing the air bubbles, scientists have found that at no point, during at least the past 800,000 years have atmospheric CO2 levels been as high as they are now.  That will explain your nice garden and thick trees with heavy leaves; last fall was the most leaves I've ever seen on the ground, this year will be the same, the vegetative growth is vigorous.

Going further back in time during the Ordovician Period some 488.3 million years ago the sun would have been several percent dimmer according to established nuclear models of main sequence stars, our sun gets brighter and hotter as she ages.  We know CO2 was probably very high coming into the late Ordovician Period but with a dimmer sun we see a dip in Earth's C02 instead of runaway greenhouse effect, the planet slumped into a glaciation period.  Unlike other glaciations in the last 500 million years, this one lasting perhaps only a million years or so but the main reason for generating so much interest recently is because it took place when CO2 levels were apparently sky-high.  High CO2 is necessary to stop the Earth from freezing over, many elements in climate change take place, from our sun, the magnetic field around Earth, gasses, land mass exposed, Earth's tilt, atmosphere, oceans and ice all play a role in climate change.

Signs of Change series from HawkkeyDavis Channel does not mean the world is ending! These are documentaries of a series of extreme weather events which are leading to bigger Earth changes, every changing planet, got Gore-Tex?
