This era of world war mechanics and technology is increasing every entity's bottom line that's involved in $manufacturing$.  I mean someone is making money, for Bently sales are up.  So let's have a look at this market, the products, the web design and advertising. The Allied Standard

At Eurosatory 2014, Rheinmetall presents the Boxer IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) variant, this equipped with the Rheinmetall LANCE 30mm two-man turret. Combining the Boxer inherent high level of protection and the unique mobility with the latest turret technology, the IFV variant presents state-of-the-art capabilities to face current requirements.

Carbon Nanotubes aids Aircraft Health

Scientists and engineers at BAE Systems have lifted the lid on some futuristic technologies that could be incorporated in military and civil aircraft of 2040 or even earlier. This technology allows jets to quickly heal themselves from damage sustained in flight. The technology is a lightweight adhesive fluid inside a pattern of carbon nanotubes from which the aircraft is constructed and is released when damaged to quickly 'set' mid-flight and heal any damage.  This advanced use of materials would create a highly survivable jet, capable of entering even the most dangerous of scenarios to complete vital missions.

On the world fighter market Russia’s Sukhoi is pinning its hopes, in the near future, on a substantially modernized Su-35 multi-role fighter.  The model must be an interim type between today’s Su-30MK in various configurations and a prospective fifth-generation fighter, whose deliveries may start in the second half of the next decade.  The Su-35 is a 4++ generation aircraft employing technologies of the fifth generation.  They make it superior to all other 4th generation fighters now under development worldwide.  In 2009-2015, thanks to these technologies, the Su-35 will dominate the world market, outperforming other proposed multi-role fighters.

The Ka-52 Alligator is a next-generation reconnaissance and combat helicopter designed to destroy tanks, armoured and non-armoured ground targets, and enemy troops and helicopters both on the front line and in tactical reserves. The F-35 Lightning II 5th Generation Fighter

Three variants of the F-35 will replace the A-10 and F-16 for the U.S. Air Force, the F/A-18 for the U.S. Navy, the F/A-18 and AV-8B Harrier for the U.S. Marine Corps, and a variety of fighters for at least ten other countries.  The F-35 is developed, produced, and supported by an international team of leading aerospace companies.  As the prime contractor, Lockheed Martin continues its 100-year history of aircraft research and design with the Lightning II.

Eight nations—Australia, Canada, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Turkey, and the United Kingdom—have joined the United States in developing the fifth-generation F-35 Lightning.  International countries were awarded contracts proportional to their financial contributions, allowing their domestic industries to produce elements of the aircraft.  Contractors inside the UK, the single largest international partner participating in the program, will build 15 percent of each F-35, while Canadian and Australian companies have won a combined nearly $1 billion in contracts.  Allies were incentivized by significant returns on their investment, job creation, industrial growth, and strengthened bilateral relationships with the US—in addition to acquiring cutting-edge combat capabilities.

The C-5 Galaxy can carry more cargo farther distances than any other aircraft. With a payload of six Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles (MRAPs) or up to five helicopters, the C-5 can haul twice as much cargo as any other airlifter.
The C-5 entered operational service in 1970 and has been a vital asset in every military operation since that time including Vietnam, Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom.  It has also been essential in humanitarian relief efforts including hurricane Katrina, tsunami and earthquake relief. With a service life that stretches beyond 2040, the C-5 will remain a central figure in strategic airlift for decades to come.  To meet that goal, the C-5 is undergoing a set of modifications that transform it into a C-5M Super Galaxy.

With a basic fuel capacity of 50.8 tonnes which can be increased by the use of extra cargo hold tanks, the A400M is the most capable tactical tanker in the market. The standard A400M aircraft has full provisions for Air-to-Air Refuelling (AAR) operations already installed as standard and only requires the rapid installation of the optional air-to-air refuelling kit to become a tanker.
