What is the Unconditional Basic Income?

An Unconditional Basic Income (UBI) or Citizen's Income is a guaranteed income, given to all in addition to any other income they might receive. By advancing equality and economic participation while enabling simpler welfare systems, UBI leads to a fairer and more efficient society.

Personal note from rightwiththeship:

This could work for any country around the world, we do have the tools and economics to move this forward, for everybody deserves a life on this planet.  Many do not have the means even to go out and enjoy a movie.  Let's say this is you, from the time you were born and finished high school and received $1500.00 per month you would have $324,000 to get your life rolling. Yea I thought so now you're interested.  That's just the initial $1500.00 without interest!  You know what this is, retirement in reverse to get you on track for a better life and your life is up to you.

At this time and place, this is for the people of the EU, soon to move around the world. This episode aired 12/31/13 the video from "Basic Income for Europe" was posted 3/28/13 with only 113,806 views at this time.  I have not heard of this from any other media source, tired of the dark ages.

The Ship is just not a media site but a platform of ethics tied with the Info, Recon and Tools we can use like The G.C.C.U. and other inspiring entities to help all of US, for we're in this together.  I mean that man, I'm not dinking around.  From working on The Condition to what made Mary, we're coming off the Rocks and we're going to be happy damn it!  A lot is changing and we're going to make it so, so we can grow, everyone has stock in the Planet.

Leave it to Switzerland , as far as statistics go, one of the best countries in the world. Ranks 4th for education, 1st for health, 1st for its workforce, and 2nd for enabling environment.

It's worth noting that the World Economic Forum is based in Switzerland, but based on empirical metrics like employee training, talent retention, scientific output, and productivity, the country wins out.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

It represents the universal recognition that basic rights and fundamental freedoms are inherent to all human beings, inalienable and equally applicable to everyone, and that every one of us is born free and equal in dignity and rights. Whatever our nationality, place of residence, gender, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, language, or any other status, the international community on December 10, 1948, made a commitment to upholding the dignity and justice for all of us.

This all happen after World War II.  Seems to me it's not being followed, so with that, we are the change we wish to see.  With or without governments we have the tools, technology within our economy as a whole for each country to develop such a society. This is an investment towards you for a more stable social structure supporting future generations, where the investment is your best interest not clouded by mechanized  Monopolies.  In this video bellow is for the people of the EU, a great guide stone for other countries to follow.

Article 25 states: (1) Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

(2) Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection.

Basic Income for Europe

Basic Income: a crazy, beautiful, great idea!

Veronique De Rugy discusses the concept of basic income on Fox Business.

C. H. Douglas
This all stems from C.H. Douglas, he collected data from over a hundred large British businesses and found that in every case, except that of companies heading for bankruptcy, the sums paid out in salaries, wages and dividends were always less than the total costs of goods and services produced each week.  The workers were not paid enough to buy back what they had made.  He published his observations and conclusions in an article in the English Review where he suggested, "That we are living under a system of accountancy which renders the delivery of the nation's goods and services to itself a technical impossibility."  The reason, Douglas concluded, was that the economic system was organized to maximize profits for those with economic power by creating unnecessary scarcity.  Between 1916 and 1920, he developed his economic ideas, publishing two books in 1920, Economic Democracy and Credit-Power and Democracy, followed in 1924 by Social Credit.

This is a fight for life for all individuals on this planet and any government along with the politicians being hand feed by large corporations is time to strip the feedbag.  For the ones who don't believe in such a doctrine you want to walk away, stick your finger down your throat and Give'em The Green Weenie!  For we start working on these 83 programs here in the States for starters to get this going.
